Why isn’t Braxton Keith all over Billboard’s Hot Country chart these days? I have a Braxton Keith playlist folder so full of potential hit songs they’re practically falling out.

In fact, this week’s Essie Country Real Country Song of the Week is one of those songs that kept falling out of my Braxton Keith folder, so I finally decided it was time to use it. Blue is one of those songs that gets you tapping your foot and humming along from beginning to end.

How can any fan of real country music not like a Braxton Keith song? His catalog is full of songs that deserve a much wider audience. If you’re looking for modern country music that still sounds unmistakably country, Braxton Keith songs should be included in your playlists.
